Privacy
Vidilicious is operated by Vaishnavi Dhanwade. We store the editor name, project titles, video URLs, version history, reviewer-entered names, comments, timestamps and approvals needed to provide video reviews. We do not download or host your videos.
Access and sharing
Your editor key controls your account. Only a hash of that key is stored on the server. Save the original securely; there is no email-based key recovery. The app keeps your editor key in memory until you lock or reload it.
Anyone with a complete review link can view and comment on that project while the link is active. Links expire after 30 days and can be replaced. Do not share them publicly. Reviewer names are self-entered and are not authenticated. Private review pages are excluded from search indexing.
Video hosts and payments
Loading a video connects your browser to YouTube or the video host you supplied. Those services receive normal connection information and may use cookies under their own policies. Load media only when you choose to. The sample demo uses an external MDN video; its comments stay in memory and reset on refresh.
If paid checkout is activated, Razorpay processes the payment. We store order and payment identifiers, amount, currency and verification status, not your card number. Merchant details and final prices appear before checkout.
Hosting and retention
The website uses Vercel; the API uses Netlify and the existing PostgreSQL database. Rate limits store a hash derived from connection information for a short time. Project data remains until deletion is requested; archiving disables review but retains history. Export your data from the studio. Request account or project deletion via the contact form; ownership must be verified without sending your access key by email.
Contact requests store your email and message so we can respond. They are not marketing subscriptions. Unconverted requests are reviewed after 90 days. Avoid submitting confidential client information.
